Yulanda Francis has been promoted at Bermuda-headquartered ILS management, servicing, transformation and fronting specialist Horseshoe Group, taking on the role of President of the firms collateralized reinsurance platform Horseshoe Re.
Horseshoe Group CEO Andre Perez announced the promotion, saying; “In continuing to focus on internal structural efficiencies, we have reallocated some of the resources internally which we believe will make Horseshoe Re’s operations more streamlined.
“As part of this restructuring, I am pleased to announce that Yulanda Francis has been promoted to the position of President of Horseshoe Re. Her unwavering dedication to provide an outstanding level of service to our clients and her expertise in collateralized reinsurance make her a highly respected professional among her peers.”
Francis will continue in her current responsibilities for client service within Horseshoe’s collateralized reinsurance platform, Horseshoe Re, and in addition the Treasury and Underwriting teams will also now report to her.
Francis has worked at Horseshoe since 2008 and played an integral role in establishing Horseshoe Re, which is now one of the largest independent ILS transformers in the marketplace.
Francis has over 20 years of experience in the ILS and reinsurance space, with a track record and expertise covering insurance management, collateralized reinsurance and insurance accounting.
