Benjamin Jacquet joined the Credit Suisse Insurance Linked Strategies in January 2017, first taking on the role of Underwriter, ILS Strategies.

In September 2018 he became a Market Head for the firm, leading a team of ILS underwriters with a focus on assets across the market spectrum, from catastrophe bonds, to collateralised reinsurance or retrocession and industry loss warrants (ILW’s).

Now, as of February 1st 2020, Jacquet has been promoted to become the Head of Non-Life Underwriting for Credit Suisse ILS.

The role will see him with greater responsibility for underwriting and pricing across the non-life insurance-linked securities related activities of the Credit Suisse ILS team and he remains based in Zurich.

Before he joined Credit Suisse ILS, Jacquet worked for reinsurance firm PartnerRe, as an underwriter of property catastrophe reinsurance risks, also based in Zurich.

As well as a focus on property catastrophe reinsurance and retrocessional risks during his career, Jacquet is also experienced in cyber risks having begun his career working in cyber security.
