BMS Capital Advisory hires Chris DeMuth from JLT as SVP

BMS Capital Advisory, Inc., the broker-dealer, investment banking, ILS and capital markets arm of insurance and reinsurance brokerage BMS, has announced the hiring of Chris DeMuth as a senior vice president, picking him up from his last role at JLT Capital Markets.

DeMuth has more than 15 years’ experience in the investment banking and reinsurance space. He will report to Romulo Braga, CEO of BMS Capital Advisory in the new position.

DeMuth was most recently a Senior Vice President at JLT Capital Markets, where he provided M&A, capital raising and advisory services to insurance and reinsurance industry participants in North America, Bermuda and the UK.

Before his time at JLT, DeMuth held senior positions at Jackson Valley Fund and reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter. He has also served in roles as an analyst at Chanin Capital Partners and Merrill Lynch.
