Aon Securities, the capital markets, investment banking and insurance-linked securities (ILS) focused arm of the insurance and reinsurance broker, has announced the hiring of Sourna Daneshvar as a Managing Director with a focus on capital raising and product innovation.
Sourna Daneshvar is based in Chicago and has significant capital markets and securitization experience gained over two decades working in financial services and investment banking.
Most recently, Daneshvar worked at global banking firm Citibank, where he was a Director working on securitization and managing alternative sales and asset origination across both public and private markets, with a focus on alternative institutional investors and insurance market clients.
Daneshvar previously worked as a Director at investment bank Credit Suisse, in roles with responsibility for business development and financing in Europe within Credit Suisse Prime Services.
In his new role at Aon Securities, Daneshvar will be primarily focused on the firm’s capabilities in raising capital and product innovation.
He will report directly to Aon Securities CEO, Paul Schultz.
