Aeolus Capital Management Ltd., the Bermuda based reinsurance and insurance-linked securities (ILS) focused investment fund manager, has announced another new hire, with Nicholas Jagoda from Elementum Advisors set to join the firm.
Jagoda will take on a Partner and Portfolio Manager role at Aeolus after fulfilling his obligations with ILS investment manager Elementum Advisors, LLC.
Jagoda is currently a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Elementum, having joined the company in 2009, as part of the original team that launched the ILS manager and playing a key role there since.
He began his work at Elementum as a Portfolio Management Associate and became Partner and PM in 2011.
He first became involved with investments in collateralized reinsurance in a Trading Assistant role at Stark Investments in 2006.

Aeolus also recently announced another key hire in Aditya Dutt, the former leader of reinsurance firm RenaissanceRe’s ILS and third-party capital management businesses, to be a Partner and the new President of the asset manager.
