Ledger ILS Managers, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company established in July 2021 by Ledger Investing, the insurance technology (insurtech) and insurance-linked securities (ILS) focused company.
Ledger ILS Managers, LLC was formed to act as an investment manager to Ledger’s first dedicated casualty insurance-linked securities (ILS) fund, named Nanorock.
As well as Nanorock, which was launched as a fund-of-one backed by a single large pension plan investor, Ledger ILS Managers, LLC will in future act as the investment manager for funds and separately managed accounts that may be launched in the future.
Ledger’s Nanorock was the first specific casualty ILS fund strategy to be launched in the market and the ILS manager said at the time of its launch that it also planned a co-mingled casualty ILS fund that would have the same investment mandate as the fund-of-one.
Ledger ILS Managers, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ledger Investing and an investment advisor registered with the SEC.
Ledger Investing also has its own US regulated securities broker-dealer entity named Ledger Capital Markets, LLC.
