Reinsurance brokerage and risk/capital management firm, TigerRisk Partners LLC, has hired industry veteran Patrick J. Denzer as a Partner with a focus on client management and strategic development.
Rod Fox, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TigerRisk, said; “Pat is one of the most experienced and able reinsurance brokers in the industry. His extraordinary record of accomplishment speaks for itself. I am glad we’ve now got him on our team.”
Previously, Denzer was President and CEO of John B. Collins Associates, a reinsurance broker that was acquired by brokerage Guy Carpenter and, most recently Denzer worked as Chairman, Americas of Guy Carpenter.
While at John B. Collins Associates, which he joined in 1989 as an Assistant Vice President, Denzer was very focused on the property catastrophe reinsurance sector and also assisted with the development of the firm’s industry loss warranty (ILW) capabilities and business over the years, for which it was well known.
He was also responsible for developing and executing strategy and building and maintaining client relationships and, when the firm was sold in 2009 he had helped it increase its revenues from $5 million to $80 million, explains TigerRisk.

An attendee of the University of Minnesota, Denzer sits on the board for a number of for-profit and non-profit organisations. He is well known across the reinsurance broker community, and the broader reinsurance industry for that matter, and the respected industry veteran expressed his delight at joining TigerRisk.
