About Artemis ILS Asia 2018
More than 170 attendees joined us at our third annual insurance-linked securities (ILS) conference in Asia for a day of insightful speeches and panel discussions from global ILS specialists, as well as regional re/insurance market participants.
Download the Artemis ILS Asia 2018 post-conference report, for an insight into some of the discussions that took place on stage during our third Asia region ILS conference.
The overwhelming conclusion was that the ILS market is destined to expand more deeply into Asia, both on its own merits as an attractive and cost-effective risk transfer and alternative investment option, as well as through continued alignment with insurance and reinsurance partners as a valuable source of alternative capacity.

Our third annual ILS conference for the Asia regon was held in Singapore, as a central transport hub with an active reinsurance market and capital market investor community.
For 2018 we aimed to build on the success of last year's event, returning to Singapore to bring a wealth of ILS market experience and knowledge to interact and connect with the Asian and surrounding markets.
This year we are looking to go deeper, investigating the ILS sector at a more detailed level and deepening the connections made at our events.

The venue for Artemis ILS Asia 2018 is the Suntec Convention Centre. Venue details.

Programme
The day will be filled with insightful talks and panel discussions from leading ILS, reinsurance and capital market executives, with a mix of regional and international speakers.
This year we aim to provide a deeper level of insight into some specific topics that are affecting ILS, opportunities for ILS, or where the capital markets is changing the shape and structure of the insurance and reinsurance market.
Additionally, in 2018 we're delighted to welcome the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and its speaker Jacqueline Loh who will be providing an opening statement on the day.
Being in Singapore it would have been remiss not to mention the development of the countries own ILS regulatory regime and one panel will feature speakers who have been involved in the industry and government partnership to promote Singapore as an ILS hub.
As well as opportunities to learn from our speaker faculty, Artemis ILS Asia 2018 also provides attendees the perfect opportunity to network amongst some of the most senior decision makers across the insurance-linked securities (ILS) and reinsurance market in Asia.
The full agenda can be seen to the right, along with speakers participating in each session. Again, we have a mix of keynotes and panel discussions, while we also hope to get the audience involved with interactive questions and answer sessions.
