Unable to travel to Singapore owing to the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, ILS Asia 2020 was our first virtually held conference.
Spread over five days in mid-July, the online event has now attracted more than 1,200 viewers who heard from an array of re/insurance and ILS experts and executives.

The fourth Artemis ILS New York conference was held in midtown Manhattan at a purpose built event space, and was attended by more than 370 people from across the risk transfer industry.
After consecutive heavy loss years, subsequent lessons on loss development, combined with the complexity and uncertainty of climate change, the focal point of the day was building back stronger.

Our fourth ILS conference in Asia was held at Singapore’s Suntec Convention Centre in Suntec City. The event was hugely successful and drew over 180 delegates from around the world.
The theme of this year’s event was focused on ‘Demystifying ILS’, and featured engaging and insightful discussions from some of the ILS and reinsurance market’s leading figures.

Our third ILS conference in New York was held in midtown Manhattan with some 350 delegates attending the event, and a waiting list for spaces that exceeded 70.
Attendees were treated to insightful and thought-provoking discussions from industry professionals about the current state of ILS and what the future holds for the market.
Held in early February 2019, the event brought together experts from across the world to reflect on what has been a testing period for the ILS market, following two consecutive years of large loss experiences.

Welcome to the Artemis ILS NYC 2018 post-conference report. The second edition of our New York insurance-linked securities conference attracted strong support, as market participants converged to hear talks focused on a theme of “Building The Future.”
Over 295 people registered for our second ILS NYC conference and attendees were treated to insightful and thought provoking discussions from leading industry figures throughout the day.
The audience heard how well the ILS market responded to the events of 2017, as well as discussion on how the role of capital markets in re/insurance has changed, with speakers from all parts of the risk transfer chain providing concrete examples of both the influence of ILS now, and its potential to impact the future of risk transfer.

Speakers noted how the investor base in Asia is as diverse by region as its peril exposure, and how the need for robust modelling and use of innovative structures, alongside further educating the investor and sponsor community, can help to broaden the remit of ILS in Asia

Welcome to the Artemis ILS NYC 2017 post conference report. Our New York event for a discerning audience of insurance-linked securities (ILS), reinsurance and capital markets experts saw participants embrace our theme of “Future Thinking.”
Over 215 people attended our inaugural ILS NYC conference with attendees came from across the ILS and reinsurance market spectrum, as well as New York investors, asset managers, bankers and funds, and a number of InsurTech start-ups, venture investors and other categories.
The overwhelming finding of the day was that ILS and the capital market’s are ready to do more to support global risk transfer, re/insurance and resilience, with technology set to drive further penetration of efficient capital into risk markets.
