UK headquartered life and annuities insurance and reinsurance company Legal & General has hired Pretty Sagoo from Deutsche Bank to the role of Head of the Strategic Business in its pension risk transfer team.
Sagoo has significant experience in the longevity risk transfer and longevity swaps space, gained from her time at Deutsche Bank where she led the Insurance and Pensions Solutions business. Her 15 year career saw her gain experience across the banking and insurance industries in areas such as asset allocation, de-risking, longevity risk management and also Solvency II. She previously worked in roles at AXA Sun Life and Goldman Sachs.
Sagoo also held a Directorship of the Life & Longevity Markets Association (LLMA), an organisation established to help promote standards and transparency in the longevity risk transfer and hedging market.
In her new role Pretty will help L&G implement large scheme pension buy-ins, buyouts and longevity insurance transactions in the UK, as well as supporting pension schemes to achieve their de-risking objectives.
