Willis Capital Markets & Advisory (WCMA), the insurance & reinsurance capital markets, investment banking and insurance-linked securities (ILS) facilitating unit of Willis Towers Watson, has rebranded and renamed itself to Willis Towers Watson Securities.
The new brand will bring together all of the Willis Towers Watson broker-dealer services across the group under the WTW Securities brand, providing its clients with seamless access to securities products and solutions.
The services offered by Willis Towers Watson Securities combine industry knowledge with analytical expertise, across strategic advisory, capital raising and insurance-linked securities (ILS) areas of insurance and reinsurance markets. Re/ insurance M&A and capital markets execution capabilities remain at the core of the unit, alongside analytical, actuarial, brokerage, rating agency and risk management consulting.
The unit will also work alongside other Willis Towers Watson Group units, to provide access to investment banking and securities expertise and execution abilities.
Willis Towers Watson Securities is involved in many catastrophe bond transactions, as well as a range of other convergence and collateralised reinsurance arrangements, where investment banking structuring and bookrunning skills are required, and also assists ILS fund managers with their structures.
