Artemis ILS Asia 2017 – Building on ILS market connections to the region

Artemis is returning to Singapore on the 13th July 2017 for our second Asian conference, ILS Asia 2017. We’re delighted to invite you our readers, your colleagues and your contacts to the second installment of our annual ILS event for the Asia region.


After a successful first event in 2016, Artemis ILS Asia 2017, sees us returning to continue our mission of providing the definitive annual insurance-linked securities meeting in Asia, facilitating introductions and building on connections between the region and mature-market based ILS executives.

Held in central Singapore on 13th July 2017, ILS Asia 2017 will underline the importance of Asia to the ILS and catastrophe bond market, through provision of efficient risk capital, being a vital source of diversifying risk and holding an increasingly educated investor base.

Singapore is a key regional hub for insurance and reinsurance business, as well as a capital market and host to an investment community that appreciates new alternative opportunities, making it a location which could in future capitalise on continued ILS market development.

The ILS Asia 2017 conference will feature keynotes and discussion panels with ILS market experts, re/insurance industry participants, ILS investors and service providers, with a focus on education, insight and analysis of the complementary and diversifying nature of ILS capital, the benefits it provides to cedants and investors, as well as how the market can be accessed.

Speakers will discuss topics including; the development of the ILS market in Asia and globally, opportunities for ceding companies to access the capital markets, opportunities for investors to access the ILS asset class, the importance of risk analytics in this market, how insurance management plays a vital role in ILS, the legal and regulatory landscape, new risks, peril and line of business innovation, and much more.
