Leadenhall Capital Partners appoints Lam to management board

Specialist London headquartered insurance and reinsurance linked securities investment management firm Leadenhall Capital Partners has added Ly Lam to its board of management as a representative of MS Amlin.

Lam joined MS Amlin as Head of Strategy for Reinsurance in October 2016 and reports directly to Global Managing Director of Reinsurance James Few.

Lam had been Chief Operating Office of ILS and retrocessional reinsurance specialist investment manager Markel CATCo, having joined that firm in early 2015, before leaving a full-time role with the firm in early 2016 but remaining on as a consultant for some time.

Given Lam’s experience in ILS investment management, as well as her expertise in reinsurance operations, she has been appointed to Leadenhall Capital Partners management board as of 24th January 2017 as a representative for MS Amlin.

Previously, Chris Beazley who held a similar role to Lam’s in the reinsurance division at MS Amlin held a position on the Leadenhall board as a representative for the firm, but he has moved on to become CEO of the London Market Group in November 2016, so Lam has taken on the board vacancy.
