Markel CATCo Investment Management Ltd., the Bermuda headquartered reinsurance and retrocession linked investment and fund manager, has hired Alissa Fredricks, an experienced actuary who has previously worked at AIR and Aon.
Markel CATCo announced the “strengthening of its actuarial capability” with the hire of Fredricks, who has been appointed as Senior Actuary for the reinsurance linked investment manager.
Fredricks has more than 10 years of experience in actuarial roles. Before joining Markel CATCo, Fredricks worked at AIR Worldwide, where she worked as a Senior Manager providing catastrophe risk modeling consulting studies and software services to brokers, insurers, reinsurers, ILS & capital markets, regulators, rating agencies and other insurance industry stakeholders. Prior to AIR, Fredricks worked in actuarial consulting services at Aon and Willis Towers Watson.
