    Lloyd’s of London Syndicate 2357, backed by the largest manager of catastrophe and weather insurance or reinsurance linked assets, Nephila Capital, more than doubled its full-year profit in 2015 and has increased its stamp capacity for 2016 by 68% to $178.9m.

  8. Cat-in-a-Box & parametric contract pricing app launched by RMS
    Risk modelling firm RMS has launched a new cloud-based application that enables all insurance, reinsurance or insurance-linked securities (ILS) markets to model, create and price parametric risk transfer cat-in-a-box contracts.

  9. Bank of England warns of soft re/insurance market disconnect
    The Bank of England’s Chris Moulder, director of general insurance at the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), has warned of a disconnect between the supervisory discussions had with insurance and reinsurance firms and observed market behaviour.
