Stephen Lister joins ILS manager Securis Investment Partners

London-headquartered specialist insurance and reinsurance-linked securities (ILS) investments manager Securis Investment Partners has hired Stephen Lister, previously of global insurance manager Kane, to work in operations in its London office.

Securis has been expanding its workforce steadily in recent years, to provide an operational base to support its expansive range of efforts in insurance-linked investments and underwriting as the ILS manager has grown to $3.25 billion of ILS assets under management.

Stephen Lister, who was previously ILS manager for the Bermuda office of global independent insurance manager Kane, joined Securis recently after relocating to London.

Lister has joined the Operations Team at Securis, which will put to good use the experience picked up from four years with Kane. As ILS manager for Kane, Lister provided client management leadership with a focus on ILS clients using collateralised reinsurance and catastrophe bonds.

Lister will report to Securis’ Chief Operating Officer Vegard Nilsen.

Nilsen commented on the hire; “We are delighted with Stephen joining our Operations Team in London. He has a wealth of relevant experience and will add a valuable contribution to the team.”
