Artemis has learnt that Nathalie Rushe joined Mercury Capital, the Bermuda based ILS fund manager, in September as Managing Director for Origination and Marketing. Nathalie, who has been consulting in the Alternative Capital space through Rushe Capital Advisers since leaving Hiscox in April 2012, has a deep understanding of the alternative market place.

Mercury Capital launched the Mercury iCRIX Tracker Fund in Jan 2013 to track the performance of the Mercury investible Catastrophe Risk Index (hosted here on Artemis). We reported on the relative index performance in an article here last Thursday.

We understand the role affords Nathalie the freedom to continue her Rushe Capital Adviser activities to the extent that they don’t conflict with her responsibilities for Mercury.
