Aon Benfield Securities adds Triggs to capital markets team

Global reinsurance broker Aon Benfield’s investment banking and capital markets division, Aon Benfield Securities, has added another senior strategic advisory executive to its London team. Nick Triggs joins Aon Benfield Securities from Keefe Bruyette & Woods Limited as a Managing Director reporting directly to Paul Schultz, Chief Executive Officer of Aon Benfield Securities.

Triggs is expected to bring significant experience to the London team from his most recent role as Head of European Investment Banking for Keefe Bruyette & Woods, where he was responsible for strategic advisory, and mergers and acquisitions advice across Europe.

Triggs will advise Aon Benfield Securities insurance, reinsurance and private equity clients on a broad array of strategic advisory assignments, including mergers and acquisitions, insurance and reinsurance company formations, and capital raising initiatives.

Qualified as a chartered accountant, Triggs has 25 years of experience, primarily as an investment banker serving insurance and reinsurance sector clients.  He has advised many of the re/insurance industry’s leading firms and successfully closed transactions in multiple jurisdictions including in the U.K., the Nordics, Continental Europe and the U.S.
