International law firm Stephenson Harwood have appointed a new partner to their structured finance practice. Based in their Singapore office, Saugata Mukherjee will work across their structured finance disciplines as well as aviation financing. He has proven experience in much of the structured finance world, from aircraft financing structures to securitization, with one of his particular areas of experience gained from working on catastrophe bond structures.
Mukherjee’s previous experience includes working with the lawfirm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London as a senior associate in their structured and asset finance group and also some time spent as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in London.
Stephenson Harwood hope that Mukherjee’s unique breadth of experience at both a law firm and as an investment banker will enhance their structured finance operations in Singapore.
