Nephila Capital the well-known insurance and risk linked investment fund manager and reinsurance firm have added a new employee in February as ex Aon Benfield SVP Chris Parish joins the firm as a portfolio manager for Nephila’s catastrophe funds. Parish had been with Benfield and then Aon Benfield since 1999 and brings a wealth of experience to Nephila.
His roles at Benfield saw him work in the ReMetrics, Advisory and Canadian teams and according to Nephila he has always had a focus on “quantitative analysis and placement of property catastrophe business across several territories, in both traditional and securitized forms”.
Nephila Capital are becoming one of the largest players in the niche area of risk and reinsurance that they focus on and gradually building the team to support continued growth.
